Gnosco offer a digital diagnostic support platform for faster and more secure diagnosis of skin lesions and wounds. The CE-certified platform, Dermicus, provides a faster and more efficient medical process, improved patient experience and is specifically aimed for communication between healthcare providers. In addition, Dermicus is also a continuous E-learning platform for doctors and nurses. Total costs are decreased due to fewer excisions and less physical referrals to specialists, but most important diagnoses are set much faster than before.

Gnosco offer an education program for both First Line Clinicians (General Practitioners) and Dermatology Specialists. The program aims to improve knowledge about Malignant Melanoma and other related skin-diseases. The education program consist of online course, face-to-face course, and continuous learning.

Sally R

The idea for Sally R took off in Hallstahammar where the brothers Anders and Fredrik Edström experimented with air treatment and air purification. When they turned their eyes to the International Space Station (ISS), they found concepts for smart air handling.

On the ISS, the air is monitored, treated and reused in a closed cycle in a very energy-efficient way. They wanted to explore if it was possible to combine the optimization and purification technology available at the space station with the existing ventilation technology used on earth, in order to get better air quality for lower energy consumption. And guess what, it was!

Today we provide real estate and all types of properties an easy, scalable cloud solution for securing healthy and safe indoor air quality. Our service is implemented in existing systems remotely, which opens up endless possibilities for optimizing buildings anywhere.

Now we take the next step in making buildings carbon negative. Carbon capture technology creates further opportunities for new solutions regarding sustainability within the built sector.

War on Cancer

After being diagnosed in 2015, at 28 years of age, Fabian began documenting his cancer battle on a blog, which made him realise the true power of storytelling and how sharing his story helped him cope with his ‘cancer trauma’. Sharing his story helped him to process what he was going through, emotionally and psychologically, but also gave him a sense of purpose that he had never felt before. This, together with a strong urge to help others affected by cancer, became the foundation for the War On Cancer app – a social network aiming to radically improve the mental health of everyone affected by cancer.

When Sebastian saw what positive impact writing had on Fabian’s mental health, as well as himself, he conceptualised an idea for a global platform – a place where anyone affected by cancer could connect with others that understood their experiences. In May 2016, Sebastian and Fabian launched the first version of War On Cancer and within weeks stories were being shared by people in more than 20 countries worldwide. Today, War On Cancer is an app, a social network, available for anyone affected by cancer, during and after treatment, as well as their loved ones.

Headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, Tasku is at the technology and retail industries’ intersection. Our longtime experience in the industry taught us that only the right innovation has the potential to make a positive impact. Thus we aim to make our solutions as seamless as possible to be able to add only benefits to every worker who uses our apps and to every retail store manager who has lots on her plate, day in, day out.
Everything started when in 2021 we were analyzing huge people operations data set from one of our clients’ grocery stores. By looking into the daily operations of a large store we started to calculate how people capital intensive the industry is and that in Europe alone several tens of millions of people work in the stores just to put the products on the shelves. These millions of Europeans need to travel to their workplace, spend hours in traffic to arrive at the store and after the workday a journey home awaits.
Having this in mind we connected the dots, that there are locals, living next to their neighbourhood store where they can easily walk from their apartment building to the store at the needed time and help the store manager to achieve her goals by completing one or two needed tasks. After a pre-agreed task is done, the person can simply go back home and chill with extra euros in her bank account. Current mobile and computer vision technologies allow for smooth transaction coordination with minimal human intervention.
Two months after the original idea the Tasku platform was born and from day one we aim to facilitate beneficial cooperation of the locals with the grocery stores in the European neighbourhoods. Store managers get extra hands at the most needed times and the locals get meaningful extra income opportunities next to their homes for completing short but important tasks.
Tasku currently is live in the selected cities in Sweden and Lithuania.

The round was led by Finnish VC Inventure. The Danish company changed the structure of a split payment system and let the stores carry the burden of their potential customers. The platform provides interest-free financial solutions to the customers and only charges a modest fee to the online stores on the platform. It sounds ethically wrong for the stores BUT actually online store owners benefit from this as well. This system may tend to bring more customers to the stores since the charm of the new system can attract them into the shops. This huge funding will be use of expanding more across the Nordic region for the Danish startup. Additionally, the company will be able to take it to the next level by increasing the payment options even for the in-store customers.
